BLACK TIE EVENTS
Welcome, and thank you for taking time out of your day to visit
our website. Time is the one thing we just don't seem to have
enough of in our lives, and when it comes to event planning, time
becomes even more valuable as your special event draws near.
There are many details to attend to when planning a social event.
Some details you may be familiar with, while others may have
never crossed your mind. If you are already busy with work
responsibilities, or if you are planning a wedding from out of town,
the services of a professional event planner are invaluable!
You probably have many ideas for your special day. A
professional event planner has the skill and experience
necessary to incorporate those details into your overall plans.
Using an event planner does not mean you give up control of
your event. Instead, you are gaining a very competent facilitator
to your staff. So what can you expect when hiring a professional
event planner?
What to expect from your Event Planner:
The planner will conduct an extensive initial interview with you to
listen to your plans and ideas for the special event.
The event planner will work along with you in securing all of the
wedding vendors (such as your ceremony & reception sites,
caterer, musicians, photographer, videographer, reception
entertainment, bridal salon, transportation, etc.).
The event planner will advise you on etiquette, check lists, budget
guidelines, social traditions, and recommended vendor lists.
When selecting a site for your event, your planner will be able to
visit venues with you to offer suggestions on room layout and
discuss pros and cons to that specific location.
The event planner will offer advice and assistance in regards to
planning an engagement party, rehearsal dinner, or bridal party
lunch/dinner.
Your event planner will assist in locating, pricing, and reserving
hotel rooms for out of town guests.
An "Event Day Schedule" will be composed to your specific time
line requests, and will be communicated to all of your vendors prior
to event day.
Expect your planner to attend the wedding rehearsal, ceremony,
and reception to ensure that everything you have contracted for is
done to your satisfaction. Your planner will also serve as a
troubleshooter and allow the client, and their families and friends
to enjoy the wedding day fully and spend time with their guests.
Your event planner will work closely with you during the planning
months, and will make recommendations that are in your best
interest. There is no reasonable accommodation or request that
will be refused when it comes to the planning of your event. You'll
quickly find your event planner to become a friend and confidant,
and will act as a neutral force in any conflicts with planning within,
or between the families involved.
