QUESTION : WHY DO I NEED A WEDDING PLANNER?
A wedding takes approximately 250 hours to plan. When you begin
planning, there is so much that it is just overwhelming. So many
questions, like “where do I start”, “who do I call”, “when should things
be done”. Black Tie Events will answer these questions. We have
done research on every detail to make your wedding day perfect and
continue to do hours of research so that we are completely up on
what is current and popular, as well traditional.
QUESTION : WHY SHOULD I CHOOSE BLACK TIE EVENTS?
As you look at planners and what they offer, you will see that most
offer the same basic planning,. What makes us different is the
amount of time we can spend on your wedding, our ability to take
your ideas and turn them into the wedding of your dreams and our
enthusiasm. You'll also see a lot of vendors who claim to do
event/wedding planning. While they may have florists, bakers, etc.,
they can use to put a wedding package together, they will not give
you the level of planning and attention that Black Tie Events can.
This is our full time business, not part time or a hobby. We put
together time lines, schedules, seating charts and are with you every
step of the way during the planning of your wedding/event and the
big day itself. We will always have a quick response time to any
questions and be available to discuss your ideas and plans.
QUESTION : HOW CAN I BE ASSURED THAT THIS WILL BE MY
WEDDING AND NOT THE PLANNER’S IDEA OF A WEDDING?
We know that every bride is unique and has at a least somewhat of a
vision for their wedding. We will work with you to make your vision a
reality. We will work with the vendors you choose, or help you choose
from vendors we are familiar with. We do not have any “deals”
worked out with vendors that we will try to push on you. We will work
within your budget, helping you make the decisions that best fit your
vision and your budget.
QUESTION : HOW DOES A FIRST MEETING WITH YOU WORK?
When you decide you are interested in working with us, you may
either call, email or submit the form in the "Contact Us" section of this
web site and we will be glad to set up a convenient time to get
together. We will come to you. Then we spend time discussing your
plans and your time schedule.
QUESTION : WHAT HAPPENS NEXT, IF WE DO BOOK WITH YOU?
If you decide to book with us, a 50% deposit is required with the
remainder of the balance due in installments 30 days before the
wedding. At that time you will fill out a contract and a registration
form. If you decide on the Total Planning Package we will discuss
what you need to be working on, possible vendors and budget plans.
We will go over some time lines and checklists. As we move forward
with your plans, we will help you book appointments with your
vendors, attend appointments, ask the questions that need to be
asked. We will help you make sure that everything is coming together
just the way you want. If you have decided on the Rehearsal and
Wedding Day Services Package only, we will make plans to meet
twice before your wedding to go over your plans for your wedding
day. And then we will do everything possible to make your day go
smoothly, appear effortless and stress free.
